Steve Share, 46, is the new editor of the Minneapolis Labor Review. He comes to the job with 20-plus years of experience as a community organizer, community newspaper editor and publisher, communications director, and communications consultant.
He also is a past president of the Neighborhood Press Association. Share founded Community Media Services in 1995. Most recently, he has worked as communications coordinator for the Minnesota Alliance for Progressive Action (MAPA). There he was a member of the AFSCME Council 14 Employees union.
In addition to editing the Labor Review, Share will serve as communications director for the Minneapolis Central Labor Union Council.
Share succeeds Wally Nelson, who left the Labor Review in June after more than 25 years, and Dania Rajendra, who edited the newspaper through September.
