Lakeville Motor Express workers seek help

The 95 workers at Lakeville Motor Express lost their jobs, their last two weeks of pay and benefits when the company closed with no warning just before Thanksgiving.

These employees with their union, Teamsters Local 120, and allies have been fighting the management in the courts and on the picket line for more than six months. They need help to maintain the line and keep up pressure on the LME bosses to come to a fair settlement.

Volunteers are needed any time between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday outside of Finish Line Express (FLE) at 10001 89th Ave. N, Maple Grove, MN 55369.

Any time you can spare is appreciated – an hour or two or half a day.  You can sit in a lawn chair and talk, whatever you want to do, just so the company knows people are out there.

Call or text Virgil Christoffersen 651-245-1463 or J.C. (Jim Crisham) 763-439-8097 for info or to sign up – or just show up.
